I thought penguins were black and white not black and mahogany!!!

Kamo LOVES to run and slide on his side down the driveway. He can do this literally for hours and when the conditions are just right he can slide quite a ways. He runs, tucks in his shoulder and drops ... sometimes with a HUGE thud!!

I took some video of him and unfortunately I did not capture a huge slide but I think it is cute anyway. It is mostly just rolling with the longest slide being at the very beginning. One day I will get the long slide on video to share with everyone.

I think the boy spent a past life as a penguin.
My favorite part is where he stops to make sure I am still taping him ... what a ham

What's that in your mouth??

In the last few months I have been noticing that Kamo likes to have things in his mouth. He has always picked stuff up and carried them around but lately every time I look at him he has something in his mouth.

When someone comes to the door and he can't find a toy near by he will pick up ANYTHING ... a leaf, fuzz, shoes, the basket that holds the toys by the front door ... anything.

Before bed he always brings 3 specific toys into the bedroom and if he can't find them a little bit of panic sets in. He gives me a look of desperation and I open the door let him go look. He takes off like a bolt of lightning and brings them back.

I have been looking at pictures and noticed that there are LOTS of them with things in his mouth. Life goes by so fast that I just don't want to miss the little things. Here are a few pictures to share.

Do you notice a pattern?  Funny little guy.  It is amazing what things we take for granted just because we see it every day.

I can't tell you how much I love this dog. He is really a one in a million!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the KyahBug!!!

Wow!!  I can't believe that Kyah is 10. (her birthday was actually Feb 12th - my bad)  I have to say that as sad as it may sound, I truly did not believe that Kyah would still be with us today.  Through all of her problems and issues, she has always maintained a happy, happy attitude.  I only hope that we could all be as well adjusted as her.  She has always been, and continues to be, my source of inspiration.

Whoo I'm TWO!!!

Where did the time go? Dawn says that now she has to stop telling people my age in months and that when I get in trouble it is not because I am a puppy but just because I am BAD!!! What ever ... I am never bad! Anyway ... we had 2 parties for me.

One at home last night ... sort of a "pre-Birthday" party. We all got a donut and I got some toys ... Loved them.

Winter fun

Dawn dislocated her knee and we have not been able to hang out outside very much. Something about crazy dogs running into her legs or something!!! But she did take us out for a little bit of calm fun.

Been awhile!

Well it has been awhile since I last posted. Lets see, what have we been doing?

Christmas time was a blast. I spent some time with the big man himself.
We all look great together if I do say so myself.
Kyah and Wynnie are less enthusiastic than I am, but I smiled big enough for the 3 of us.

Then came the day when we got to open up presents. It was so much fun ... I am an expert present opener. I helped Logan when ever he needed me too ... I am not just handsome, I am handy too.

So December brought us snow, toys, family, toys ... lots of good eatn', and toys!!! It just does not get much better then that.

It was very cold today.   Kamo is making me want to strangle him ... which is pretty hard to do seeing that he pretty much makes me smile all the time. Our day consists of him whining at the door, going out side, freezing into a 117lb ice block, coming back in, whining at the door ... you see the pattern!!!

I decided that something needed to be done so Kamo had his feet stuffed into winter boot and I threw the girls winter coat on him ... the neck and shoulders are a bit tight on him ... and off we went into the cold and snow. We don't have a lot of snow, just a lot of cold. Kamo had a blast, he could finally run without freezing.
